Life funded and facilitated the creation of MCOE programs, including, without limitation, a $25,000 grant to train special education teachers to optimize the delivery of service to children with autism throughout the County. Life also provided space for special education at well below market rates at the Life Foundation building when it was needed.

Girls Inc. of the Central Coast is an affiliate of Girls Incorporated, a national organization that has been providing programs for girls since 1864. Girls Inc. delivers a constellation of programs focused on leadership and self-empowerment for girls ages 8 to 18.

The Community Alliance for Safety and Peace (CASP) is a coalition of organizations and leaders from Salinas and Monterey County determined to reduce violence and build a better future for our children.

More than 50,000 children in California are waiting for a safe home and a loving family that will be there for life. Kinship Center builds adoptive and other families where children can heal from past abuse or neglect and grow to healthy adulthood. The Kinship CenterĀ helps 2,500 children each year, mostly those whom many others consider too difficult: severely traumatized children, older teenagers, children with disabilities, large sibling groups, and drug affected infants.
